We congratulate Dr Fredrick Kyalo Manthi and Professor Susana Carvalho for their successful application to The Africa Oxford Initiative's Research Development Award. The award will be used to fund important knowledge exchange work involving the study of Late Miocene collections at the National Museums of Kenya. Dr Manthi is a senior research scientist and head of the Division of Paleontology at the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi (discover more about his research here).
