Thomas Puschel

Thomas is an evolutionary anthropologist and vertebrate palaeobiologist interested in primate evolution and the use of numerical and computational techniques for investigating the interface between comparative anatomy, fossil behaviour, biomechanics, and ecology. From November 2018 we will join us as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the Primate Models for Behavioural Evolution Lab, which is part of the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology. His project's title: 'This study has teeth: our ancestors’ climate as a predictor of habitat change' will take Thomas to Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique, where he will be working in the Dental ecology of Gorongosa’s mammals.
