Paleo-Primate Project Gorongosa Newsletter - October 2020

Welcome to the latest edition of our monthly newsletter for the Paleo-Primate Project Gorongosa, covering recent updates from the previous month. As many of us are now facing new lockdown restrictions in light of rising COVID-19 case numbers, we hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well. We were especially pleased to be able to catch up with many of you virtually during the PPPG research meeting. As always, please continue to keep us informed of any positive news that could be featured in future updates.

To celebrate International Day of the Girl Child on 11th October, Gorongosa National Park invited all to watch “Our Gorongosa”, which tells the inspiring story of how Gorongosa National Park is becoming a new model for wildlife conservation and community development in Africa, with a special focus on educating girls and empowering women. I am sure many of you have already seen the documentary, but if not, please enjoy and share with friends and colleagues!
