Prof. Susana Carvalho
Talk abstract: Where did we come from? How did we become what we are today? What factors contributed towards our evolutionary success? These questions are at the forefront of human origins research and are crucial to understand our future as a species. Professor Susana Carvalho will discuss how an interdisciplinary team of international researchers led by Oxford University is shedding light into some of these long-standing issues, through fieldwork in Gorongosa National Park and mentoring of international and national students as part of the Paleo-Primate Project Gorongosa in Mozambique.
Please note that this session will be recorded and available to view on-demand in the event portal after the event.
